• Course requirements
  Minimum age of 18 years / passed theory test / for those not in the canton of Vaud domiciled Persons: Permission from the shipping office of the canton of residence to take the practical test in another canton.

  We recommend preparing the theory test with the Online course from Boat Driver Swiss.
   

• Required previous knowledge
  Basic motorboat course or proof of the relevant knowledge and skills by means of a clarification trip (1 hour).

• Course duration
  Experience has shown that you should expect around 10 lessons of 1.5 hours each for the course in private mode and around 15 lessons of 1.5 hours each for the semi-private mode. However, there is no minimum number of lessons! As soon as you are ready for the exam, we will register you for the practical exam.
   

• Prices
  Private (1 person): CHF 120.00/hour / Semi-private (2 persons): CHF 80.00/hour pP
  
  Insurance contribution (flat rate): CHF 90.00 pP (not applicable for persons who have attended the basic course)
  
  Exam organisation + boat charter: CHF 100.00 pP
  
  The course material is included. Half of the course will be invoiced in advance, the second half after the end of the course.
